Installed over the rough-in backing plate before drywall and painting, the guard helps keep joint compound, paint, dust, and construction debris away from the inlet opening and wiring. SKU 519 is designed for compatible standard central vacuum inlet backing plates and includes two PVC plaster guards per package.
